Registering as a Patient

If you wish to register at Lerwick Health Centre, you can do so in advance by completing NHS Inform's Registering with a GP Practice(external link).

Please bring your completed form to the Health Centre along with some identification if you have it.

We operate a full triage system at LHC for our team of GP’s and Advanced Nurse Practitioners using software called askmyGP, which is accessible via our website. If you require an appointment with either of these then please submit your request between 7.30am – 9.30am, Monday to Friday. One of our clinical team will assess your request and signpost you to the most appropriate care.
