NHS Shetland’s Annual Review – All welcome
NHS Shetland is pleased to invite members of the public to attend its Annual Review meeting on Monday 18 August, from 2pm to 3pm at Mareel, Gutters Gaet, Lerwick, ZE1 0WQ.
The Annual Review offers a valuable opportunity for the community to learn about our performance during 2024/2025 and to gain insight into the Board’s plans for the coming year. Attendees will hear updates on how our services are being delivered and how public funding is being utilised.
The event will be hosted by our Chair, Gary Robinson, and Chief Executive, Brian Chittick. It will be attended by the Scottish Government’s Minister for Drugs & Alcohol Policy and Sport, Maree Todd.
Mr Robinson said: "I look forward to welcoming our community and partners to this year’s Annual Review. It’s a chance to reflect on our achievements, acknowledge challenges, and discuss the important work ahead."
The meeting will include a concise overview of the past year’s performance through a presentation, followed by an interactive Q&A session. Attendees will have the chance to pose questions directly to NHS Shetland’s Chair, the Executive Management Team, and the attending minister. Please note that, due to confidentiality, questions regarding individual patient matters cannot be addressed during the public meeting. Any unanswered questions will be responded to in writing after the event.
We are delighted to host this year’s Annual Review in person at Mareel. Light refreshments will be available beforehand in the café area. For those unable to attend, a recording of the session will be posted on our website shortly after the event.
