Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information regarding adult neurological and mental health services. Answers are provided on the attached and accompanying Excel spreadsheet.

 

For the avoidance of doubt, when referring to the terms 'neurological' and ‘neurological disorders’, please include; brain injury (including acquired brain injury and traumatic brain injury), spinal injury, neuro-disabilities (including but not limited to Parkinson's disease, early-onset dementia, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Huntington's disease, cerebral palsy and epilepsy), stroke, neurobehavioural rehabilitation and cognitive rehabilitation. This list is meant as a guide and is by no means exhaustive.

 

For the avoidance of doubt, when referring to the term 'mental health needs', please include; anxiety, depression, personality disorder, severe affective disorders, schizophrenia, and mental ill-health that causes challenging behaviour, all of which are to such a degree that the person experiences significant impairment and as such is unable to care for themselves independently. This list is meant as a guide and is by no means exhaustive.
