Removed from Waiting List - FOI Response Register

1. The number of patients being removed from an NHS waiting list due to attending or being admitted at the private sector. I would like this information for the last 6 calendar years (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024).

[Please note: I am referring to patients who have chosen to pay for private treatment; NOT patients that are being treated as NHS patients at a private healthcare clinic]

With regards to information for 2019-2022 then in accordance with FOISA s 16(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it holds the information requested but that it is exempt from disclosure under FOISA s 25(1) as the information requested is accessible without submitting a request under FOISA s 1(1).
