Leaving NHS Waiting Lists - FOI Response Register

1. The number of patients that have been removed from an NHS waiting list due to the patient choosing to leave the waiting list.

I would like this information for the last 6 calendar years (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024).

With regards to information for 2019-2022 then in accordance with FOISA s 16(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it holds the information requested but that it is exempt from disclosure under FOISA s 25(1) as the information requested is accessible without submitting a request under FOISA s 1(1).

ACRT stands for Active Clinic Referral Triage

MH stands for Mental Health

With regards to whether a removal is due to a patient choosing to leave, beyond the above and the information given by the removal reason category itself, then in accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested.
