Nil, NHS Shetland does not perform bariatric surgery

In accordance with FOISA s 17(1), NHS Shetland confirms that it does not hold the information requested. All patients requesting Bariatric surgery are referred to engage with Tier 3 Weight Management Services.

4. How many people have been prescribed weight loss medication such as Orlistat, Tirzepatide, and Semaglutide since 2018- current? Or since these medications have been approved for use for weight loss.  Please break this down medication and by year.

NHS Shetland only prescribe Orlistat
