Numbers of cases of flu have been rising across Scotland. Although the number of cases in Shetland is lower than in the rest of Scotland, we expect an increase in the coming weeks as people circulate more over the new year period and at local events throughout January.
Getting vaccinated is one of the most effective ways to stop flu from spreading and to reduce the impact it has on us and our community.
If you are eligible for a flu vaccine and you haven’t had an appointment yet, you can attend one of the following walk-in clinics at Grantfield Vaccination Centre:
• Tuesday 7 January 2025 – 10am – 12pm
• Wednesday 8 January 2025 - 10am – 12pm or 2pm – 4pm
• Thursday 9 January 2025 - 10.30am – 12.30pm
• Friday 10 January 2025 - 10am – 12pm
• Monday 13 January 2025 - 10am – 12pm or 2pm – 4pm
• Tuesday 14 January 2025 – 10am – 12pm
• Wednesday 15 January 2025 – 10am – 12pm or 2pm – 4pm
• Thursday 16 January 2025 – 10am – 12pm
• Friday 17 January 2025 - 10am – 12pm
