Brian Chittick offers his thanks to patients, staff and partners following the period of wintry weather.
Following the period of adverse weather recently, Brian Chittick, Chief Executive NHS Shetland, wanted to offer his thanks on behalf of the organisation to our patients, staff, partners and the community. He said:
“My sincere thanks to every colleague who worked flexibly, covered shifts, walked miles in the snow and did whatever was needed to provide a continued safe service for our community over the last few weeks.
“I’d also like to thank key partners for supporting NHS Shetland —moving staff, clearing roads, transferring patients and more. Your teamwork made the difference.
“Finally my thanks to the community for your patience, understanding and continued support while we have navigated this stretch of wintry weather."
