ADHD and ADD Policies - FOI Response Register

1. Please provide me with a copy of any policy materials informing the referral process for a)child and b) adult psychiatric services for suspected ‘Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder’(ADHD) or ‘Attention-Deficit Disorder’ (ADD) within your health board.

a) Child ADHD referrals are made to the Paediatrician through SCI Gateway. No specific
materials.

b) Adult Psychiatric services are currently in the process of developing the pathway for
ADHD/ADD referrals. This should be ready by March 24.

1. These should include, but not be limited to, instructions for making or accepting referrals topsychiatric services and the grounds upon which a referral should be accepted.

Paediatrics - no guidance currently avialable.

1. When providing these materials, please ensure that any documents and manuals are clearlylabelled with an indication of their purpose and intended audience. Please also let me knowif this request is too wide or unclear, and I will seek to amend it accordingly.
