NHS Shetland is inviting members of the public, staff and partners to attend its Non-Ministerial Annual Review on Monday 16 November, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, in the Meeting Room at Lerwick Town Hall.
The Annual Review provides an opportunity to hear directly from NHS Shetland about the past year's performance, the challenges faced, and the progress made across local health and care services. The event will also look ahead to priorities for the year to come and how NHS Shetland is working to deliver sustainable healthcare for the community.
The meeting will be hosted by NHS Shetland Chair, Gary Robinson, and Chief Executive, Brian Chittick. This year, no ministers from the Scottish Government will be in attendance.
Mr Robinson said: "Our Annual Review is an important opportunity to reflect on the past year, share the progress we have made, and discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. I would encourage members of the public, staff and partners to join us in Lerwick Town Hall and be part of the conversation about the future of health and care in Shetland."
The event will begin with a presentation highlighting key achievements, challenges and performance over the past year, followed by a question-and-answer session. Attendees will have the opportunity to put questions directly to the Chair and members of the Executive Management Team.
Questions about individual patient care cannot be discussed in a public meeting due to confidentiality requirements. Any questions that cannot be answered on the day will receive a written response following the event.
The Annual Review can be attended either in person or online via Microsoft Teams. Tea and coffee will be available for those attending at Lerwick Town Hall. The chat function in Microsoft Teams will be switched off.

Questions should be submitted by Thursday 12 November to allow them to be answered during the meeting where possible.
