MenB vaccine to be offered to eligible young people this summer
Following recent outbreaks of meningitis in the UK, the Scottish Government has announced plans to offer a new programme of Meningococcal B (MenB) vaccination for young people this summer.

Extra drop-in date tomorrow for Covid and flu jabs
The Vaccination Team is putting on an extra winter vaccination drop-in clinic tomorrow (Saturday 13 December) to help manage the current demand. It will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and you may need to wait as it will be drop-in only.

Due to a high volume of respiratory illness within our community, we are temporarily limiting hospital visits to the Gilbert Bain Hospital to essential visits only. Visitors will also be asked to wear personal protective equipment, e.g., a fluid resistance mask, when entering the ward areas.
