Work to begin on hospital exterior in the new year
Following a private session of the NHS Shetland Health Board meeting on Tuesday 16 December, the Board has approved a revised Full Business Case (FBC) for submission to the Scottish Government. This is an important milestone that will allow works to begin in early 2026.

Extra drop-in date tomorrow for Covid and flu jabs
The Vaccination Team is putting on an extra winter vaccination drop-in clinic tomorrow (Saturday 13 December) to help manage the current demand. It will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and you may need to wait as it will be drop-in only.
